Sony SNC Z20N - Network camera - color - optical zoom: 18 x - 10/100

BUILT IN ZOOM 18X JPEG COL CAM W/ POE

Sony's SNC-Z20N fixed-view network color video camera combines a ¼ type, EXwave HAD CCD with a built-in web server and 18x AF zoom lens that provides high-resolution images to up to 50 simultaneous online viewers. In addition to incorporating the latest networking standards and protocols, the SNC-Z20N IP camera can be controlled by PC or certain handheld devices.
Ideal for remote monitoring of distant locations over TCP/IP networks, the SNC-Z20N camera features a 10/100 Base-TX (RJ45) interface, an assignable IP address and a PCMCIA Type II slot for 802.11b wireless networking or flash memory storage.
These features coupled with the camera's built-in firmware allow the user to view live images and to control the camera by PC or select handheld PDAs over a network.
The SNC-Z20N's embedded web server allows up to 50 simultaneous viewers to monitor remote sites through a powerful auto-focus 18x optical zoom lens with 12x digital zoom.
It produces high-quality motion JPEG images and offers a wide choice of resolution rates, including 736x480, 640x480, 320x240, and 160x120 at a maximum resolution at up to 30 frames per second at VGA resolution (640x480). The EXwave HAD CCD features a day/night view mode and slow shutter option that increases low light performance to a minimum illumination of .01 lux. The motion detector/activity detection/alarm trigger operates through dedicated I/O ports with a single input and dual outputs.
The web server connects through a RJ45 Ethernet port and supports numerous networking protocols, including TCP/IP, ARP, ICMP, DNS, NTP, HTTP, DHCP, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), and Simple Messaging Transport Protocol (SMTP). An RS-232C port provides transparency while a PCMCIA type II slot is available for wireless networking or flash memory storage. Power can be provided through the standard RJ45 Ethernet cable.
